If he and I were neighbors, I could see growing to like him as a friend. Clinton has a dry sense of humor and the man is intelligent, two requirements for my list of guests at cocktail parties. He has excellent taste in his choice of cigars. However, Clinton's lights are out when it comes to choosing females. With the exception of his daughter, Chelsea Clinton, not a female listed in Clinton's book would ever find themselves at my backyard BBQ.

With Clinton's book My Life in stores across the United States, his book sales are holding strong and in New York City the talk of the town is limited to only two stories at present; (25 June 2004) Clinton's book and Michael Moore's film, Fahrenheit 9/11.
After Clinton launched My Life, Monica Lewinsky gave her own critique -- seems she doesn't earn enough pages in his life story. Monica Lewinsky said Clinton "destroyed her life." To refresh your memory, Monica Lewinsky slipped her secret affair with Clinton to a friend on audio tape and the incident eventually led to Clinton's theoretical impeachment.
Monica Lewinsky, now 31, earned $30,000 per year working for the Pentagon as a secretary (under Kenneth Bacon) or twice as much as most college interns. Her life was headed in the right direction for a woman in 1996... if she worked hard, proved yourself, she would likely have a promising career.
Chandra Levy on the other hand, another infamous intern, never lived long enough to work her way up the congressional ladder, her remains were found in May 2002 after a sex scandal broke with Rep. Gary Condit. The cause of Levy's death remains a mystery, at least to us.
Celeb status for Monica Lewinsky took off in the late 1990s after her presidential affair. Monica Lewinsky has guest starred on television shows, hunted men on reality television, expressed herself (although she did not write) in a book Monica's story, and starred in a Hollywood film. She has ridden for free on cocktail conversations of her now infamous Oval Office blowjob. Need I remind you how many thousands of truly talented actors and writers struggle decades to come close to "Monica Lewinsky" fame, while keeping some moral standards?
It is time for Monica Lewinsky to find a real job. She is good with answering phones, and perhaps is qualified to be a good receptionist. It is not Clinton's responsibility to save her. She wasn't raped. She wasn't even smart enough to use the affair to her advantage at the time... If a man is stupid enough to cheat with a woman, she is the one who holds the power over him. No one had to know, Monica Lewinsky could have used her affair to secure a cushy job post-affair in a circle of Clinton friends willing to keep his secrets out of the news.
Suggesting that Clinton treated her unfairly in his memoirs, as Monica Lewinsky says, simply reflects an old fashioned battle by the weaker sex movement... Men owe women squat.
Equality is earned. Monica Lewinsky has not yet learned how to play the game.
